What is model versioning?
Model versioning: Giving every trained model a unique, ordered identifier so that any version can be found, compared, deployed or restored. It is normally tied to the code, data and settings that produced it.
Model versioning: an example
A registry lists churn-model v1 to v9, and production runs v8 while v9 is being tested.
