What is inverse matrix?
Inverse matrix (also called Matrix inverse): For a square matrix A, the matrix that undoes its effect: multiplying A by it in either order gives the identity matrix. It exists only when A does not collapse any direction, and it lets you solve A x = b as x = inverse times b.
Inverse matrix: an example
For A = [[2,0],[0,4]], the inverse is [[0.5,0],[0,0.25]], and their product is the identity.
