What is l2 norm?
L2 norm (also called Euclidean norm): The straight-line length of a vector, found by squaring each component, adding them and taking the square root. It matches ordinary geometric distance and is used in normalisation, weight decay and Euclidean distance.
L2 norm: an example
||[3, 4]||_2 = sqrt(9 + 16) = 5.
