What is unit vector?
Unit vector (also called Normalised vector): A vector whose length equals exactly 1. Any non-zero vector can be turned into one by dividing it by its own norm, which keeps its direction but removes its magnitude; this is common before comparing embeddings.
Unit vector: an example
[3, 4] divided by its length 5 gives the unit vector [0.6, 0.8].
