What is linear combination?
Linear combination (also called Linear combinations): A new vector formed by multiplying each vector in a set by a number and adding the results. It is the basic building step of linear algebra, and a neural network neuron computes one when it weights and sums its inputs.
Linear combination: an example
With v1 = [1, 0] and v2 = [0, 1], the combination 3*v1 + 2*v2 equals [3, 2].
