What is matrix-vector product?
Matrix-vector product: The result of multiplying a matrix by a vector: each output entry is the dot product of a matrix row with the vector, or equivalently a linear combination of the matrix columns weighted by the vector entries. It is how a dense neural layer computes its outputs.
Matrix-vector product: an example
W = [[1,0,2],[0,1,1]] and x = [3,4,5] give W x = [3+10, 4+5] = [13, 9].
