What is kronecker product?
Kronecker product: An operation that builds a large block matrix by multiplying every entry of one matrix by the whole of another. It appears in structured covariance models and approximations of curvature in large networks.
Kronecker product: an example
For a 2 x 2 matrix A and a 3 x 3 matrix B, the product is a 6 x 6 matrix made of 4 blocks, each block being an entry of A times B.
