What is model promotion?
Model promotion: Moving a model version from one lifecycle stage to the next, for example from development to staging to production, after it passes checks and approvals. Recording promotions gives an audit trail and stops untested models from reaching users.

After beating the baseline by 2 points on a held-out set and passing fairness checks, model v9 is promoted to production.
