What is hyperplane?
Hyperplane (also called Decision boundary): A flat subspace one dimension smaller than the space around it, defined by w . x = c for a normal vector w. In machine learning it acts as the boundary that a linear classifier draws between two classes.
Hyperplane: an example
In 2-D, the line x + 2y = 4 is a hyperplane; in 3-D, a plane; a linear classifier with 50 features uses a 49-dimensional one.
