What is chmod?
chmod: A command that changes the permission settings of files. It accepts symbolic forms such as u+x or octal numbers where read is 4, write is 2 and execute is 1 per group. It is often needed to make a script runnable.
chmod: an example
chmod +x run.sh makes a script executable; chmod 600 key.pem lets only the owner read and write it.
