What is random experiment?
Random experiment (also called Random trial): A process whose result cannot be predicted with certainty in advance, but whose possible results are all known and which can in principle be repeated under the same conditions. Probability theory starts by describing such a process before assigning likelihoods to what might come out.
Random experiment: an example
Rolling a die, drawing a card, or checking whether the next customer who opens an app makes a purchase are all such processes.
