What is outcome?
Outcome (also called Elementary outcome): One single, specific result of a random experiment. Outcomes are mutually exclusive: exactly one of them occurs each time the experiment is run. Events are built by grouping outcomes together.
Outcome: an example
Rolling a die can produce the outcome 4. Tossing two coins can produce the outcome HT (heads then tails).
