What is classical probability?
Classical probability: The approach that assumes every outcome in the sample space is equally likely, so the probability of an event is the count of favourable outcomes divided by the count of all outcomes. It works well for fair dice, coins and cards but not when outcomes are unequal.
Classical probability: an example
P(drawing a heart from a standard 52-card deck) = 13 / 52 = 0.25.
