What is conditional distribution?
Conditional distribution: The distribution of one variable when another is fixed at a specific value, found by slicing the joint distribution and rescaling so it sums to 1. Predictive models effectively learn this distribution of outputs given inputs.
Conditional distribution: an example
Among only Android users, the distribution of purchased versus not purchased is a conditional distribution.
