What is image tag?
Image tag: A human-readable label attached to a specific image version in a registry, such as 1.4.2 or latest. Tags are movable pointers, so pinning a deployment to an exact version or to the image digest, a content hash, is safer than relying on latest.
Image tag: an example
Deploying `churn-api:latest` can silently pull a different build tomorrow, while `churn-api@sha256:ab12...` always gives the same bytes.
