What is kubernetes deployment?
Kubernetes deployment (also called Deployment): A Kubernetes object that declares how many identical copies of a pod should run and which image version they use. It handles rolling updates and rollbacks, replacing old pods gradually so a service keeps answering requests during a release.
Kubernetes deployment: an example
Setting replicas to 4 and changing the image tag from v1 to v2 makes the deployment swap pods one by one with no downtime.
