What is spectrogram?
Spectrogram: A picture of sound that shows how energy at each frequency changes over time, with time on one axis and frequency on the other. It is the standard input to speech and audio models because it exposes patterns that raw waveforms hide.
Spectrogram: an example
In a spectrogram of the word 'namaste', the vowel sounds appear as bright horizontal bands at particular frequencies.
