What is Stable Diffusion?
Stable Diffusion: A family of open-weights text-to-image models built on latent diffusion. It combines a VAE that compresses images, a U-Net or transformer that denoises in the compressed space, and a text encoder for conditioning, and runs on consumer GPUs, which spawned a large community of fine-tunes.
Stable Diffusion: an example
A designer runs Stable Diffusion locally on a 12 GB GPU to generate product mock-ups without sending data to a cloud service.
