What is medallion architecture?
Medallion architecture (also called Bronze silver gold): A layered lakehouse pattern that improves data step by step: bronze holds raw ingested data, silver holds cleaned and conformed data, and gold holds business-ready aggregates. Each layer is a checkpoint for quality.
