What is data lakehouse?
Data lakehouse: An architecture that puts warehouse-style features, such as transactions, schema enforcement and fast SQL, directly on open files in low-cost lake storage. It aims to serve both analytics and machine learning from one copy of the data.
Data lakehouse: an example
Tables stored as Parquet files with a Delta or Iceberg layer let analysts run SQL and data scientists read the same files in Python.
