What is data mart?
Data mart: A focused subset of a warehouse prepared for one department or subject, such as marketing or finance. Restricting scope makes queries simpler and faster and lets the owning team shape it for their needs.
Data mart: an example
A marketing mart contains only campaign, click and conversion tables, so the team does not need to navigate the whole warehouse.
