What is image classification?
Image classification: Assigning a label, or a set of labels, to a whole image, such as 'dog' or 'no defect'. It is the simplest vision task and the base for many pretrained backbones.
Image classification: an example
A model looks at a photo of a rickshaw and outputs 'auto-rickshaw' with probability 0.93.
