What is Faster R-CNN?
Faster R-CNN: A two-stage detector that adds a region proposal network sharing the backbone's features to generate proposals, then classifies and refines them. It is a strong, widely used baseline for accurate detection.
Faster R-CNN: an example
Faster R-CNN is often chosen when accuracy matters more than speed, for example in analysing satellite images.
