What is graphQL?
GraphQL: A query language and runtime for APIs in which the client writes a query describing exactly the fields it wants, and the server returns just that in one response. It uses a typed schema and typically a single endpoint, which avoids fetching too much or too little.
GraphQL: an example
query { student(id: 1) { name marks } } returns only name and marks for student 1.
