What is HTTP method?
HTTP method (also called HTTP verb, Request method): A verb in a request that tells the server what kind of action is wanted on the resource, such as reading, creating, replacing, updating or deleting. The most common are GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE, and each has agreed rules about safety and repeatability.
