What is HEAD method?
HEAD method: An HTTP method that asks for the same headers a GET would return but without the body. Clients use it to check whether a resource exists, its size or its modification time cheaply.
HEAD method: an example
HEAD /files/report.pdf returns Content-Length so a script can see the file is 12 MB before downloading.
