What is HMAC?
HMAC: A Hash-based Message Authentication Code is a short tag produced by mixing a message with a secret key using a hash function. Anyone holding the key can recompute it to verify origin and integrity. It is used for webhook signatures and signed requests.
HMAC: an example
hmac.new(secret, body, hashlib.sha256).hexdigest() yields the signature for a webhook body.
