What is transaction?
Transaction: A group of database operations treated as one indivisible unit: either all changes take effect together, or none do. It protects against partial updates caused by errors, crashes or concurrent users.
Transaction: an example
A UPI-style transfer subtracts ₹500 from one account and adds it to another inside one transaction, so money is never lost halfway.
