What is isolation level?
Isolation level: A setting that controls how much one transaction can see of the uncommitted or newly committed work of others. Stricter levels prevent more anomalies but reduce concurrency. The standard levels are read uncommitted, read committed, repeatable read and serializable.
Isolation level: an example
Under serializable isolation, concurrent transactions behave as if run one after another.
