What is small multiples?
Small multiples (also called facet grid, trellis plot): A grid of many small charts that share the same axes and design, each showing a different subset of the data. The viewer compares patterns by eye across panels, avoiding one crowded chart. Seaborn's FacetGrid and Matplotlib's subplots make them.
