What is heatmap?
Heatmap (also called heat map): A chart that displays a grid of numbers as coloured cells, where colour intensity shows the value. It is widely used for correlation tables, confusion matrices and any two-way summary, and needs a well-chosen colour scale and often printed values in the cells.
Heatmap: an example
A heatmap of the correlation between 10 features shows at a glance which pairs move together.
