What is line plot?
Line plot: A chart that joins data points in order with straight line segments, usually with time or another ordered quantity on the horizontal axis. It shows trends, cycles and changes over time, and can carry several series on one set of axes.
Line plot: an example
Plotting daily UPI transaction counts over a year as a line shows weekly ups and downs and the overall growth.
