What is matplotlib?
Matplotlib: The foundational Python library for drawing charts. It can produce line plots, bar charts, scatter plots, histograms and much more, with fine control over every element of the figure. Many other plotting libraries, including pandas plotting and Seaborn, are built on top of it.
Matplotlib: an example
plt.plot([1, 2, 3], [10, 20, 15]); plt.show() draws a line through three points.
