What is RBAC (role-based access control)?
Role-based access control (also called RBAC): A method of managing permissions by assigning them to roles, such as viewer or admin, and then assigning people or services to roles, rather than granting rights one by one. Kubernetes and clouds both use it.
Role-based access control: an example
A data scientist role can view logs and run jobs in the `research` namespace but cannot change production deployments.
