What is DR (disaster recovery)?
Disaster recovery (also called DR): Plans and technology for restoring systems and data after a major failure, such as a regional outage or data loss. Two key targets are recovery time objective, how long restoration may take, and recovery point objective, how much data loss is tolerable.
Disaster recovery: an example
