What is speaker diarisation?
Speaker diarisation (also called Speaker diarization): The task of splitting an audio recording into segments and labelling who spoke when, without necessarily knowing the speakers' identities. It is combined with transcription to produce speaker-labelled meeting notes.
Speaker diarisation: an example
A recorded team call is tagged as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and Speaker 3, each with time ranges.
