What is openCV?
OpenCV (also called cv2): A widely used open-source library for computer vision and image processing, with functions for reading images, filtering, geometric transforms, feature detection, video capture and classic algorithms. It is available for Python and C++.
OpenCV: an example
cv2.imread('bill.jpg') loads an image as a NumPy array, and cv2.cvtColor converts it to grayscale.
