What is ORB?
ORB: Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF, a fast keypoint detector and binary descriptor that is free of patent constraints and cheap enough for real-time use on phones and robots. It compares descriptors using Hamming distance.
ORB: an example
A robot's camera uses ORB to track a few hundred keypoints per frame while it moves around a warehouse.
