What is alexNet?
AlexNet: The deep CNN that won the 2012 ImageNet competition by a large margin, using ReLU activations, dropout and GPU training. Its success started the modern deep learning wave in computer vision.
AlexNet: an example
AlexNet has eight learned layers and was trained on two GPUs, a large jump in depth and scale at the time.
