What is aspect ratio?
Aspect ratio: The ratio of an image or box's width to its height. Preserving it during resizing avoids distorting shapes, and detectors use several aspect ratios for their reference boxes to match tall people or wide cars.
Aspect ratio: an example
A 1920 x 1080 frame has an aspect ratio of 16:9, about 1.78, while a standing person's box may be 1:3.
