What is VGG-16 (VGG)?
VGG (also called VGG-16): A family of CNNs from the Visual Geometry Group at Oxford built from stacks of small 3 x 3 convolutions followed by pooling. Its simple, uniform design is easy to understand, though it has very many parameters.
VGG: an example
VGG-16 has 16 weight layers and is still used as a feature extractor in tasks like style transfer.
