What is cherry-pick?
Cherry-pick: Copying one specific commit from one branch and applying it as a new commit on the current branch, without merging everything else. It is useful for moving a single bug fix to a release branch.
Cherry-pick: an example
git cherry-pick a1b2c3d applies that commit's change onto your current branch.
