What is LDA (linear discriminant analysis)?
Linear discriminant analysis (also called LDA, Fisher's discriminant): A classifier and dimensionality reducer that assumes each class is a normal cloud sharing the same spread, and finds the directions that best separate class averages relative to within-class spread. Its boundaries are straight lines or planes.

Projecting 4 flower measurements onto 2 axes that separate the three iris species as much as possible.
