What is Gaussian naive Bayes?
Gaussian naive Bayes: A naive Bayes version for continuous features that models each feature within each class as a normal distribution, estimating a mean and a variance per class. It is quick and works when features roughly follow bell curves.
Gaussian naive Bayes: an example
For classifying flowers, petal length in one species might be modelled as mean 4.3 cm and standard deviation 0.5 cm.
