What is lift?
Lift: In association rules, the ratio of observed co-occurrence to that expected if items were independent: confidence(A to B) / support(B). Above 1 means the items appear together more than chance, 1 means no link.
Lift: an example
If confidence is 0.8 and biscuits appear in 0.4 of all baskets, lift is 2.
