What is lightGBM?
LightGBM: A gradient boosting library from Microsoft that speeds up training by bucketing feature values into histograms and growing trees leaf-wise, expanding the leaf with the biggest loss reduction. It handles large datasets efficiently and supports categorical columns natively.
LightGBM: an example
LGBMClassifier(num_leaves=31) can train on millions of rows of click data in minutes.
