What is confidence?
Confidence: In association rules, how often the right side appears when the left side does: support(A and B) / support(A). It estimates the conditional probability of B given A, but it can look high simply because B is common.
Confidence: an example
If 200 baskets have tea and biscuits and 250 have tea, confidence of tea to biscuits is 0.8.
