What is dendrogram?
Dendrogram: A tree diagram showing the order and distance at which clusters are merged in a hierarchy. The height of a join shows how dissimilar the merged groups were, and a horizontal cut gives a chosen number of clusters.
Dendrogram: an example
A tall vertical gap in the diagram before two last branches suggests the data naturally holds two clusters.
