What is Holt-Winters method?
Holt-Winters method (also called Triple exponential smoothing): An extension that smooths level, trend and seasonal pattern together, in additive or multiplicative form. It is a strong, simple baseline for series with both trend and repeating seasonality. Its parameters are usually found by minimising squared forecast error on past data.
