What is calendar features?
Calendar features: Columns derived from the timestamp, such as day of week, month, hour, holiday flags, month-end or festival indicators. They give models direct access to human schedules and are among the most useful inputs for demand forecasting.
Calendar features: an example
Add is_weekend, is_diwali_week and days_to_salary_day as inputs for an e-commerce demand model.
